How do I get rid of the update reminder?

How do I get rid of that ******* "restart your computer" message that keeps coming up when new updates are installed to the os? The retards at microsoft that thought it was a good idea to try to automatically restart your pc without your permission should be killed. Good god I dread to think what could have happened if this happened to a server on a corportate network.

Change the options. Just set it to only remind that there are updates and then ask if you want to download them or not.

Control Panel --> Security Center --> Automatic Updates.

There are verious options in there.

or disable in services

The thing is I've told it to download them but not to install them.
