After updating windows xp, I now have this microsoft search thing on the taskbar, looking very ugly and taking up precious space. It's like a virus, using rescources and resisting my every attempt to get rid of it, who can save me from it?
Ah so you can uninstall it, thank god. Though with it being microsoft, I expect I will have to go through the retardation of restarting the computer to remove it, so I will do that later.
i like the instant search feature but it's horrible to look at in taskbar, wondered if it's possible to move it to start menu, like u got in vista start menu?
You cannot move it to the start menu but you can remove it from the taskbar and just use the normal search button on the start menu which will open windows desktop search by default.
