After signing up for a dial-up ISP yesterday (don't ask!) it somehow installed this crap in Outlook Express for me. It appears as a new bottom pane, yet unlike the other panes it has no 'X' in the top right corner to get rid of it. I've had a quick look around the OE menus and options and can't see anything obvious.

Please tell me there is a way to get rid of this rubbish without reinstalling Windows!

I hate it when companies install crap you dont want on your system...bloody cheek really! You then spend how ever long it takes trying to get rid of it...grrrr.

Yep it also changed my IE6 home page to orange.co.uk. It didn't feel the need to ask me if I wanted either of these things doing!

It used to annoy me when they used to change Internet Explorer so it would say "Internet Explorer provided by Freeserve" in the top bar.

Actually I noticed it had changed to 'Outlook Express provided by Orange'... even though they never provided it  Regedit was the answer again

I wonder what else they've done :o
