Just installed SF

I have 5 gun unlocks for BF2, so How do i unlock guns like G36E and L96A1 sniper rifle for use in BF2. I always get outgunned there.

I think they are only available next time you get promoted, you'll get an extra unlock credit for each one you have previously had. The next time you get promoted after that, you'll get two unlocks instead of one - up until you've unlocked everything. That's how it worked for me anyway.

Right,

So next time i will get 6unlocks in one go?

Also how many more points do i need from about 9k till my next unlock?

There is a status meter next to where your points are recorded in BFHQ or whatever its called and it'll show you how near you are to an unlock.

you get all the unlocks in vanilla bf2 in one go, after you play a FULL round, might take a while for it to update the servers though

i got a mate who has sf to play a round on my account and i got all my unlocks in one go when i logged in!

Ahh clever stuff,
I'll have a full round later.

I am pitifully terrible at getting points in BF2, think there should be more points for objective based play than straight kills.... :/
Johnny on the spot when a flags being overrun, covert flag capture behind enemy lines, repair of assets and team vehicles... and miles behind the people I'm supporting :(
Stupid game, I'll just keep playing medic I guess :rolleyes:

Can anyone confirm that they just needed to play 1 full round in SF to get all the extra unlucks in BF2 vanilla?

a friend of mine has SF and i asked him to play with my account, which he did for 5-10 minutes. He said you just need to earn some points that's all, but you won't get all the unlocks straight away.

I did! my friend played an entire round from start to finish on my account, next time i logged in, i played a full round on vanilla bf2, disconnected went to bfhq and got lots of unlocks :)

Paying attention to this post ;)

Requirements:

* Rank: Gunnery Sergeant
* Score: 20,000
* Unlock Available

By my count you have had 5 unlocks so should get an extra 5 from playing SF on your account. It really does take a while but I am sure if you come back after lunch it'll be there :)

Its worth remembering also some of the weapons in SF are SF only and it won't be those you unlock. :)

hmm, tempted to spend £20 down asda to get bf2 (again) and all the expansions, i really loved playing it, twas a good game, far better than 2142 (which is still a good game)

What in earth were you thinking getting rid of it in the first place? ;)

I want the new sniper rifle - is it as deadly as it sounds?

Which one ? the L96wots it
or
the M95 Barrett beast ? this is louder can shoot through solar pannels and fences and glass on choppers/jets and jeeps etc.

My fav are the L96 jobby and the Dragov thing.

L96 is probably the best, best scope/zoom clearer crosshair etc.
