How do I get "Windows Live Me......" To look like "Windows Live Messenger"?

As topic really, I have some icons on my desktop that, because they have long name get abbreviated with a "..." instead of reading the whole name...

I'm using Vista and was wondering the correct way to go about getting icons to read with their full text when they are not highlited...

Looks very messy and irritates the hell out of me

Rename it to read Live Messenger

I don't think you can always make it show the full name of each icon as they can be rather large
