At the moment, im reading the sticky but its not making much sense.

"If your iPhone is already unlocked on a lower firmware, I strongly recommend pressing 'Restore' in iTunes so the iPhone is completely wiped and start again. You can upgrade and then do it, but it is not recommended."

As i am doing this, it is saying "backup ipod or not", so i am saying no because i dont need it backed up, and then it is saying it will restore and update it to 1.1.4, which i dont want to use (i want to use 1.1.3)

In Z-iphone, it mentions "prepare for upgrade" but do i do this instead? I've been trying to figure it out but im stuck, so please help!

Thank you. :)

I thought there were the most issues with 1.1.4 regarding Customize, Summerboard and the most common applications?

I knew there were inital issues with 1.1.3 upon release, but i assumed they were no longer an issue now 1.1.4 was out, and had been fixed.

I must say, ive not followed the iphone/touch firmware scene for a few weeks now, so im not totally clued up about these things.

If 1.1.4 is just as good as 1.1.3 then i will go ahead and just use that. I dont use many unusual 3rd party apps anyway, just the main ones.

Will upgrade now. :)

Cant seem to get anthing to work on 1.1.4 :(

Summerboard installs but doesnt work when loaded up, the default profile still exists. Customize says that this version isnt supported (Customize old too). :(

Did a full restore so thought i would be ok.

Geting "Package Download Failed" for the majority of stuff.

Still cant get Summerboard to work though. Load up a profile but nothing changes. Do i need any fixes?
