Hi guys, currently running the following:

Asus P8Z68-V Pro
Intel Core I7 2600k

Overclocked to 4.4Ghz but in turbo mode, so that it only overclocks itself when under load. How do I change this so that the the CPU is permanantly overclocked at this speed, instead of turbo/speedstep during load/idle?

I tried meddling with the turbo and speedstep options, but nothing seemed to get it to stay permanantly at 4.4Ghz and UEFI was always reporting stock speeds.

You only overclocked the turbo speeds. You need to overclock the normal stock speed and disable Turbo and Speed Step. Also you need to set the power options in Windows to High Performance. This will keep your overclock on 24/7. But why do you want to do this? This will cause higher idle temps as well as more power usage during idle.

How do I keep my OC 24/7?

The best advice is to be kind to your OC, bring it a box of voltages and a bunch of multipliers, dont be stingy with your power saving either - be kind to you OC :)

I think the best advice in this situation would be to give it's space, let it be it's own OC. Trust that it'll come when you need it and it'll be there for you.
