How do i know what speed wirless adapter i have?

I have a new laptop with a wireless card built in. Im sure is 54mbps but want to check if its 108mbs?

Is there a way i can check what i have?

What type of laptop is it? Can't you search for the spec of the laptop on the manufacturers website, should tell you the wireless chipset that is being used and from there what speeds it supports.

Virtually all the laptops with built in wireless are going to be standard 8011G (54Mbps) as this is the fastest ratified standard at the moment.
