How do I know which X-fi I have?

Hi,

Bought a new PC with Vista64 installed. I asked for the extreme gamer X-fi but all it says in device manager is creative SB X-FI. Anyway of checking without opening the case?

In XP it has a model number in Vista I can list in many ways as of 3rd part apps but not in windows AFAIK.

I would just run the Creative sites Auto Updater and it will tell you the exact card model.

Edit: does not support Vista so far, sorry.
