How do I lighten my skin?

This thread is pathetic, you have been ridiculed in the posts and frankly you deserve it.

This is a natural process for people of South Asian origin caused by increased production of Melanin. Whats more it will remain permanently dark when you reach old age.

Forget what your mum says and learn be proud of your individuality.

If you can change something you don't like about yourself, why can't he do so? He only is asking for suggestions on how it might be done. There's no point suffering in silence if a problem can be easily fixed.

Saying that I’m not sure how you’d whiten your skin. I do remember seeing a cream advertised on TV in Thailand that dose the job. Not sure how well it works, but a lot of people over there use it.

I watched a plastic surgery show with Vanessa Felts on channel 5 some years ago, it had a feature about a woman who was having some skin bleaching done.

She was on all fours with her arse in the air with another lady painting her anus with some bleaching cream.

Can't say I remember what the results were like but I recall the lady seemed happy with them.

Presumably a similar cream could be applied else where.

Good job it wasn't Feltz herself getting that done, they'd have needed a roller, not a brush.

I'm just acknowledging what my mother says and am curious about techniques and why my skin didn't return to its original colour after going on holiday. I'm not looking for a Micheal Jackson fix. Thought it could be something in my diet too if it was a consequence of lack of sufficient water, vitamins, fruits etc.

I can accept my skin but it just popped in my mind when I was looking through some old photos.

Well just to make you feel better, i have a feckle on my arse about 5mm in diameter and its been there since i was about 5 or 6.

Now my arse never gets showed to the sun at all so the freckle has no reason to be there but it still is.

Moral of this story is skin pigmentation wont always got back to its origanal state :)

I don't understand some of the repsonses here when i'm sure all of you know people who fake tan.

Fake Tan is literally the EXACT same principle. You are changing your skin tone.

Yet you are saying this ghuy has some sort of problem.

Orange coloured Caucasians look just as bad as Asians plastered with lightening creams.

You are who you are - dont change! Be happy the way God made you! If you unhappy about your image - go to gym or something, muscles look better on darker skin!
