How do I make an exact clone HDD >SSD

I've been messing with this new SSD for a few weeks now trying to work out what's causing it to crash, but before I finally give up on this Vertex 3 and send it back, I'd like to try and clone the original HDD onto it, Just in case I've missed some random driver not available on the MSI site. :mad:

Are there any other issues doing this is going to cause?

Firmware was the first thing I upgraded 2.06 > 2.11

I will have a search for the acronise software then. Ta

Not much use if I don't have a Seagate HDD though.

OE disc is WD Scorpio blue 500GB

Although I haven't tried it yet, I get the feeling when i plug in the SSD made by OCZ, that one is going to throw a wobbly too.

Will have to wait until the SATA drive enclosure I've just ordered turns up anyway as I have no other way of connecting it up to the laptop externally.

There is an eSATA port on this thing and I nearly bought a £3 lead.... but what powers the external SDD without an external PSU as well??
So bought the enclosure instead.
