Hi. Just received a new build and am very concerned as the case fans appear to be kaput.

How can I check system temperatures - I feel the urgent need to monitor what's thermally happening before I end up doing damage even at idle! Cant seem to find a way to do so in Windows 10 natively...

Thanks
Sols

But I can only access that info when sitting in BIOS. Is there a way to read that in natively in the windows environment, or do I need to install 3rd party software?

You need 3rd party software posted above, they should tell you all your system temps, voltages, fan speeds component specs,oc ect

Theres easytune for gigabyte boards and similar types for asus asrock ect

Try hwmonitor

Thank's I'll look into it. And these are good calls for a ASUS Turbo-GTX1080-8G or should I be looking for manufacturer specific software? Specifically for driver updates and what not, or is ference design fine with te 1080? I tried to register the Geforce Experience app that came pre installed but it keeps stalling - I imagine that's the choice app to be using?

I've been using for the past 8 years Core temp for CPU and msi afterburner for gpu temps for desktop and in game on the fly monitoring. For monitoring everything at once without OSD, HWinfo is a good call as mentioned by others.

Experience just provides things like Shadowplay streaming and game auto-optimizations, not monitoring. Afterburner+ Rivatuner is best for Nvidia cards (best not use them with AMD cards or at least some AMD cards). As Mattydoughts said, even though you grab it from the MSI website, it works for all brands of Nvidias including Asus.
