How do i overide the bios pass?

Hi, i got a load of old comps from my school as they are upgrading. They all have the bios locked my a managers password. The whole IT team at my school had changed by the time these comps were put in and they don;t know the pass. Is there anything I can do to get around it? Thanks

Take the battery out of the motherboard for a few secs.

it depends on the motherboard and maker and how keen they are to keep you out of the bios

it could be as easy as discharging the cmos battery (remove all power use cmos clr jumper or remove all power and battery and short battery teminals with a screwdriver)

Intel oem board I dealt with recently had a specific jumper setting for clearing password and recovering bios
