how do I partition my har drive

i have this newly built computer i made i partitioned the hard drive once for the os and i need to partition the hard drive again please put clear instructions thanks

You can make a second partition on the same drive even using Windows, go to Control Panel > Settings > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management.

If you want to extend the partition (say because you installed Windows to a drive with more than 120GB and the rest wasn't recognised till you installed a service pack) then you'll need third party tools.

Thats very vague. I'm going to take a wild wild guess that you have installed windows xp, formatted and partioned you HD using fat32 and now that you have windows running and found that your HD is only 32gb and you want to make a partition for the rest of it.
