Hi
I've got my TV plugged into my computer via HDMI and setup as a second monitor, I use my normal monitor as my main screen (because I can then watch TV at the same time). How do I set my games up to play on the TV rather than the monitor?
Thanks

I've only ever done this with the nVidia control panel so it might be different if you're using onboard graphics or an Ati graphics card.

Anyway, it'd be difficult to run your games on your TV if it's setup as your secondary monitor. Most games launch in full screen and default to the primary display (this being your pc monitor).

So the only way I can think of doing it is either by switching your primary display to the TV (which would mean you wouldn't be able to watch tv on it anymore whilst playing games or using the pc etc.), or setting up the displays so they act as one large desktop (which is, i assume, what you've done at the moment), but I can see this being a pain because it'd mean you have to drag it and I can't really see that working.

Alternatively, you could make the displays just show the same thing ('clone' i believe nVidia call it). That would probably be a bit easier :)

Im assuming Yewen meant to say Ultramon and yes that should work. In my opinion its a must have for people with >1 screen

Just set whichever screen you want to use for gaming as the primary.

There is a tick box in the display properties (right click on desktop>properties>settings)

Tick 'use this device as the primary monitor'

Thats the only way i found, and i just keep changing the primary monitor to suit my needs.

Easy as pie!
