Hey guys,

I sold my last PC on ebay, and now i have to ship it, but i cant find anyone that will pick my PC up and take it to the buyer. Ive looked everywhere, but cant find anything, so i was hoping somebody here has some experience about this.

Would be very much appreciated, getting kind of worried now as the guy is spamming me for postage details :)

Thanks,
Sam

Hey there PiKe,

I just tried that out, and ive got the same problem as all the other websites :

Sorry but your parcel appears to be too big or too heavy.

I dont understand why, ive sold and posted PC's a few times in the past.

Weight : 15kg
Case Dimensions : Dimensions (WxHxD): 245 x 558 x 582 mm (ATX Full Tower)

Any ideas :O?

Parcel2go was the best i could find as well. Over a certain level its almost purely size they charge for, see how much smaller you can make the box if you removed the foam inserts etc.

I used parcel2go to return a faulty printer, they arrange couriers to do the job. I think they arranged for TNT to do it which was fine. Hermes pick up from our local shop which will be handy next time I need to send something big.

i just got a quote to send a tv through parcel 2go via TNT £21.45+Vat.. it weighs a lot 35kg terms and conditions says
40kg maximum parcel weight with surcharges after 20kg you should be fine cant see a pc weighing more than 20kg

you need to weigh it as above, and measure the size of the box,length/width/depth/height ect

use some bathroom scales to sit the boxed up pc on and weigh it that way, make sure you package it will and don't let things move around, support and cpu heatsink and graphic card or remove them and send them seperately

couriers wont care a damn about your expensive pc they will throw it around so beware

Our systems with custom chassis all components normally ship out at 18KG that's with decent cooler, 2 drives, 1Gpu, Optical etc with ancilliaries/cables/keyboard+Mouse etc.
