How do I record computer playback on my Xonar?

Hi all. I really need to know if there is an X-Fi 'What U Hear' style function on my Xonar D2X, what name the utility goes by and how to use/access it.

I've tried google but am at a total loss knowing what to look for.

I basically want to record incidental sounds from films and games.

Have you tried just recording the WAVE signal? (see volume control)

Yeah, I've located the wave signal on the volume control, tried pressing the red record button but nothing seems to happen. Plus, I don't know where the recorded file is being sent to if it is recording.

You need to got to the mixer tab then select record and click the grey square

above ALT (Analog Loopback Transformation) it will turn red and you will

hear a click from your pc then use the PMP software and click the record button.
