how do i record pc temperature to a log ?

OcUK has an extensive freeware section however Im looking for something in particular.

I have a PC which keeps on shutting down, there are the usual pc error logs etc but I believe its down to heat or humidity, as its on the other side of a wall to a kitchen where the cleaning takes place....

So all im wanting to do is launch an app in the background to record heat temperatures in the pc and exports it to a log ?
