how do i reformat with windows 7

how do i reformat with windows 7... do i press f12 and boot from cd or put it into cd drive and press exe file and go that way...Cheers John

You boot from the CD and format using the command prompt.

Icq thanks is there like a how to as i dont know what command prompt is i'm a newbbe to all this...John

Apologies, forget what I said about using the command prompt on the Windows 7 DVD. You can instead format the drive in the Windows 7 installation process.

This guide should help you.

When you get to the 'Where do you want to install Windows?' screen, select the drive you want to format, click on 'Drive options (advanced)', and then click format. You can then install Windows 7 on your formatted drive
