how do i remap the location of my music folder

hi all

i have My Music folder on my second hard drive but i want the "my music" icon in the start menu to link to this folder

could someone please tell me how to ?

i can't for the life of me, figure it out

Change the 'My Music' path.

Are you trying to access it through My Computer where it says 'My Documents' at the top?

If so, then that link doesn't work, you have to use the shortcuts in the start menu or go there manually in explorer.

Hmm.. you could try with TweakUI. Under My Computer -> Special Folders there is the option to change it

If you want to move all of your 'my documents' folder (including my music) onto your second drive then you just right-click 'my documents' from the start menu > properties > move.

Not sure what'll happen when your music folder (with the same name) is already there. Warning... you obviously don't want to overwrite here!!
