Basically I've sold my amp which weighs 23Kg. I'm not in during the day, can't have a delivery company collect it from me during the day since I move around and ANC, parcelforce, interlink and parcelline wont allow me to take it to the warehouse myself.

I don't know the neighbours and Royal Mail wont carry anything over 20Kg.

Any ideas how to send it? Do any companies offer evening collection?

I think some delivery company does saturday delivery, so they should also do weekend collection as well.

try citylink

it's best if you could call them up and ask

You should be able to drop it off with Parcel Force, I sent some paintball guns to Guernsey today by dropping them off at the depot. 25kgs is not to heavy for the drivers to lift either.

I can't send with parcel force unless I create an account which I can't since I don't have a business.

Although I send the occaisional item with them through work I don't have a trade account. The parcel I sent today was labelled retail and I had no problem at all.

edit.

Go to the Parcel Force website and you can pay and arrange for a collection online I think.

Thats interesting. How did you go about arranging it? Did you just turn up at the depot and tell them what you wanted?

Thats exactly what I did, turn up with the full address and phone number of the recipient and it should be straight forward.
