im a little bit new to this networking buisiness so bear with me 
. right im using a netgear dg834 router it is currently set up to us a dynamic ip adress. now to allow some of my games to be played i have to use port fowarding so i set up a static ip for my computer and setup the ports to be forwarded using that adress. this all workewd fine and i couldplay on my games till i turned of my com and found the next morning and found that i couldnt acces the internet. i changed my computer to aquire an ip dynamically again and i could acces it again but allas my games dont work again.
could you please advis me on how to set up my router so i always get the same ip, is thier an easy way to do it?
