How do I stop an application from appearing in the taskbar?

Hi,

I have an application that I don't want to appear in taskbar (so I guess just appear as an icon in the systray instead).

Does anyone know how I can do this?

Like, so it doesn't start at startup?

Try Winpatrol. You can easily delete programs from startup with it, and do as i do, and disable itself from startup too.

No it's just a little java program that runs in a dos window, but it's always running on my laptop clogging up the taskbar, so I want a way to remove it from the taskbar and just appear in the systray, if that makes any sense

Try TrayIt. There's another similar program, but I can't remember the name of it right now.
