How do I stop Chrome from doing this?

Does anyone know how (if it's possible) to stop Chrome from keeping me signed in across Google platforms. I have a different YouTube account to my Gmail account so when I sign into one, it's stays on that one when I move across websites. All I want it to do is stay signed in on X account on YT and Y account on Gmail! I want to smash my head through my desk every time this happens. Can't find anything in options to fix it.

You need to disable google sync in the browser, I'm not on Chrome so can't tell you exactly where but it's just in the main menu.

You can be signed in to account X on YT and account Y on Gmail. It works for me, and there are instructions if you Google for them
