how do i stop my sons 360 from accessing my pc

he keeps listening to my music and it's pretty annoying anyway i can stop this as we both share the same wirless network

his 360 just seems to be able to see my music no password etc etc are needed

Just unshare the folder that its seeing. Set up a folder for just his music and films.

Also you can block access through windows media player under the streaming option

pretty easy james

turn your comp on then switch on his xbox and in media player goto tools then library and sharing his xbox will be in there just highlight it then tick the block or deny button. had to set up both of mine to allow mine to access and the kids one not to .

just re-installed windows and can't seem to find the option now to turn the sharing off :confused:

Just switch the service off

Start > Run > Services.msc > Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service > Properties > Disable

or on the navigation pane there's a drop down men named 'Stream' drop it down and click on 'more streaming options' disable all those you dont want to share with
