How do I take a screenshot of my desktop in XP?

press the print screen sys rec button on your keyboard. That takes an image of whatever is on your screen and puts it in the clipboard. Then just paste it into something

Windows Button
Then double tap "u" very quickly

That doesn't work in Vista. Although in vista, you can use the snipping tool

Yeah well what can I say. I knew as soon as I posted this it was a mistake. Believe it or not I have never had a reason to do this before
