How do i test my new graphics card?

Hi, Just installed a new HIS 7950 card tonight and want to know how to test it.

Im a novice so any help would be good.

Download and run Heaven Benchmarks, take a few games out for test runs etc...Crysis or Battlefield would be good if you have.

saw a post on here where someone was using software to monitor the card temp while testing it and then had benchmarks to compare it with.

70-80c at full load if you have the reference model.

Reference means a card with the standard cooler.
You could use afterburners screen overlay to watch the clocks of the card,temp,fps and so on its all setup in Msi afterburners settings.

Just play games and enjoy whilst using the overlay.

I too have just got the Msi 7950 (yesterday) and am doing the same thing my temps seem to sit about 58-60c underload 33c idle at stock clocks.

It means it has the standard AMD cooler fitted to the card.

ok thanks. Just did that Heaven test at the settings on the official post and the results were very disapointing. 1385. could not see any temperatures or anything so dont know what they were.
