How do i turn off driver signing on vista 64bit?

im on the pc right now. it seems perfectly stable. I dont get it, friend had this problem befoer on a xp pc where rainbow six wouldn't load. he changed the propertys so it opened in a maximised window and it worked ever since for him, didn;'t work for me though.

Have you tried to re-install,and run it as administrator,also download any available patches for the game.

What resolution are you running the game at out of interest Dave

you using latest graphics drivers?

if your using vista, does the game require any patches to work? or to work in 64-bit.

AOE3 did.

its all patched up, ive tryed as admin and all that. I presume the resolution is at 1200x1000 as ive not got my new monitor yet and thats my native. Ive not had chance to install any other games but comand and conquer worked earlyer.

Coretemp doesn't work anymore but it used to.

what volts you're memory at?

What overclock settings should i be looking at?

I have no idea what to set each bar too and i dont really want to moev each one up a bit each time when im sure most of them overclock to roughly the same.

I restarted the pc without needing signatures by doing the F8 thing and it still wont runand says i need them. This is lame i hate vista already.

Vista is running fine for me, I just resort to using different software, right no I'm using EXTERTool to overclock and its fine, shame I donthave any temp readings tho lol.

Take it you read the reply’s a few posts above? CoreTemp & RiviaTuner work fine, there isn’t a program I’ve come across that doesn’t work on 64bit, (Over clocking/Temp tools that is)

Download Everest ultimate edition trial, this is an excellent app works fine in 64bit and displays much more than CoreTemp/Speedfan etc.

As high as it will go.

Try 620/1000 first.

what about shaders and the test thing in gainward doesn't qwork. The bar only loads half way then stops. Im not botehred with rivatuner. I did what that guy said about uninstalling it then reinstalling it and all that and it still didn' work. Every time i turn it on it says no signed drivers and even when i do the F8 thing it still says rtheres no signed drivers

thanks, think ill just use the gainward tool now that i got it. Much simpler but i dont have anything to stress test it with as the test thing doesn't work on the gainward tool.

No problem, its there to use if you change your mind.

Try 3Dmark03 (its free) I find that tests the card way more than 06, my XT when I had it was stable at 880/1010 in 06 but failed in 03 by a big margin was stable at 845/980 or so.

Are you installing the rivatuner update file that comes with it?

That's how you get it to work, it really isn't that hard.

I use Everest for temps, though there is a signed driver version of coretemp.

I got that version, i get an error even though im loading the bat first. It worked orginaly.

And i got an icon i cant deleate as it says i dont ahve permission but im the admin

vista has so much needles poop.

After installing rivatuner it asks if you want to install updates, make sure that its pointing to the right directory and you allow it to.

Disable the pointless rubbish in vista; UAC, firewall, defender, etc.
