How do I update BIOS with a .CMO file?

As title suggests really. I have a profile from OCUK which I need to add to my BIOS. Do I burn this to disk and then import? Its a gigabyte P55-UD5 mobo.

Anyone know how I go about doing this?

There is an option in BIOS to load CMOS from BIOS. Under that option I can click to load from a file but it only shows a floppy drive, which unfortunately I don't have.

Just reviving this thread slightly. I have a .cmo file on a usb stick but my gigabyte mobo BIOS doesn't see the file. Is there any other file extension I can use so that my profile can be loaded? Thanks

Did you ever get a solution to this? I have the same bundle as you and have lost the BIOS settings. I have a CMO file but exactly the same problem so I have no way of getting back my overclocking..

Make sure the usb stick is empty, formatted to fat32 and the file is in the root directory (the only thing on the stick, no folder structure or w/e)

Does that work?

I'll give that a try. I only really need to see the settings as it is a newer BIOS so may not work but if I copy the settings I can apply them manually, well hopefully I can :-) thanks for the advice.
