how do i use dvi ?

my monitor has a hdmi/dvi input, and i have a gtx with 2 dvi ports.

Ive got my monitor working on vga, bought the cable today, turned monitor off, plugged hdmi cable into it, and into the gtx, and i get the grand result:

"NO SIGNAL"

bugger.

any ideas ?

cant find anything to switch between vga out and dvi out in the nvidia control panel either ?

fixed it with a reboot, w00t.

This screen (LG L22LSR) looks awesome

No need to switch between DVI and VGA on drivers - however there maybe an option on the monitor - Change the Input / Source and see if that helps

yup i had done but the gtx wouldnt put a digital signal out (even though it was a hdmi-vga adaptor) untill i rebooted, which was wierd.

all sorted now.

Tempted to buy another screen to dual-monitor
