It seems as if the 97.92 drivers don't have a great many 16:10 aspect ratios that are available as presets. Therefore, i have tried adding 1440x900 and 1280x800 as i have a 16:10 dell 2007wfp. I can't for the life of me understand why these are not available to select as the only ones i have are
800x600 (4:3)
1024x768 (4:3)
1152x864 (4:3)
1280x1024 (5:4)
1600x900 (where this one has come from god only knows! what shape/size screen uses this resolution?)
1680x1050 (16:10 my native res)
1920x1080
1920x1200 (16:10, but surely not supported by my display as it is 1680x1050 native)
1920x1440
2048x1536
When i go to create a new custom resolution using the new control panel i go to display and manage custom timings, i click create and add the details (such as 1440x900) manually and then when i click on test, it just comes straight back and says test failed.
Am i missing something here? or is there a way of adding resolutions that i'm pretty sure that this driver set should support anyway
Many thanks
