How do I use quidco? slightly confused?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I think I just worked something out:
If I was offering cashback through Quidco, I'd claim the amounts paid out as business expenses. Now, how much would I put in my accounts? The actual cashback paid out over the year? Or perhaps the amount set aside as the cashback 'pot' at the start of the year, from which all cashbacks will be paid. The fishy part is that possibly not all that cashback pot will be used up, and I've got a tax deduction I might not actually incur. Either way, it's the taxpayer who is at least in part financing the whole thing.

How do you use Quidco?

Purchase through supplied link.
Bought item never shows up.
Quidco says they can't help you.
Quidco successfully defrauds you.

sorry this is abit old but pointless making a new thread, ive bought some stuff off quidco, how do i recieve the money ive earned?

god damnit, i bought virgin media through quidco about 2 months ago on the basis i was suppost to earn £150, it didnt show up atall so i opened a claim, now they're saying declined cashback after 2 months waiting.

I have mine set to pay via BACS transfer when a certain amount is in my balance (£20 I think). There are other methods and if you check the Quidco site they have several help pages describing your options.

However I shall soon be jumping ship to Topcashback as it took them well over 6 months to provide the cashback ffor the 2 contract Orange phones I purchased. Their support is a terrible exercise in fobbing off.

It's also a good rule of thumb, when purchasing through Quidco, to close all open internet browsers. Open one and navigate to Quidco, go to the vendor via quidco and make the purchase. It tracks the purchase through a cookie and keeping it simple minimises any chance of that tracking getting lost.

Lots of other people have had the same problem, which is why I strongly recommend against them, other cash back websites don't seem to have these issues.

I've had a few items that never showed up on Quidco when I purchased via their links. I will check out TopCashback.

Used Quidco when I moved house.

Switched energy suppliers, telephone, broadband and even my bank account.

For buying services I would have had to buy regardless, doing so VIA Quidco, I had over £200 cashback.

You don't use quidco, quidco uses you! :p

Srsly though it's pretty easy, log in or register, search for desired shop. Click link, do shopping and checkout. Give it time it will register on quidco's site and you wait 18 years for your money. £378 I've got from them so far, just try use it & forget about it because it isn't the quickest but you'll receive a nice email to say they've paid you X amount via BACS or Paypal (which is limited to £50, so use BACS).

Signed up to topcashback, was so easy I thought it buggered!

Seems very easy to use too and they can pay you via PayPal as well.

I've used quidco for years, not had any issues with tracking yet (touch wood).

I always treat it as a bonus if I get it, if it doesn't track then tough luck. I wouldn't buy something if I was relying on the £x cashback to make the purchase worthwhile.

What does selling have to do with anything? Don't you know what fraud is?

How have quidco defrauded you if an item you bought from Play (for example) never shows up?

It's hardly their fault or their responsibility, it falls to the shop that sold the item.

I was referring to the item showing up on the quidco site not arriving at my door.

Though now that you mention it play.com did try to steal from me until I phoned trading standards and they refunded me.
