How Do I Watch TV Through My Computer?

Yeah I know, get a tv tuner card,but which one,Analogue/Digital.

Any pitfalls to setting it up.

What about Freeview?

Which one do you use?

If you are going to get one get a digital freeview one because
freeview are not going to be doing analogue any more.
 
I thoroughly recommend the Terratec Cinergy 2400i picture is excellent and interface is far neater and easier to use than my last tv card. Duel tuners are ace for watching and recording too!

Don't laugh but,we have a Freeview box connected to the 14" portable in the bedroom,and it picks up a lot of the Freeview channels using just a loop aerial.

Can you say how good the aerial needs to be for a card to work in the computer?

If I look out of the computer room window,I can see Winter Hill Transmitter,that's why we don't get all the Freeview channels,problems with the transmitter.

If I put an areial in the window,I would hope to be able to receive something?

Any comments appreciated.
