.....cut someone's face out of a picture and merge it into another? I think that I need to cut the face out, make the edges transparent and then past it over one of those 'Bratz' dolls.

What would the quickest way to do this in Phostoshop CS2?

Use lasso or magnetic tool to outline the face, copy and paste it onto the Bratz picture then press CTRL+T to resize if need be

Patch tool would probably be easier, always what i use.

Thanks, I'll look into what you said. As you can probably guess though, I'm not really up to speed on photo manipulation.

Once you have it copied onto the other picture. Make a selection around the face and do some Brightness / Contrast. Usually helps match images a little

Edit -> Image -> Brightness / Contrast
