Hi just wondering how do i find out what processor my laptop will be able to take??
Its a Toshiba tecra A2
Is there a site that will tell me what the fastest cpu is ?

i think these use a Dothan core pentium M 400fsb, use cpu z program to double check, then see what the fastest dothan you can get. I think its 2.1 on 400fsb.

Looks like your right on the processor.
If anyone knows what all this means then i would be greatful for a little advice on what cpu to look out for..

the pentium m 765 755 and 745 are all dothan 400fsb 2.1 2.0 and 1.8 ghz respectively should be ok for it.
