I have an MSi x58 platinum motherboard with an i7 920 cpu and 6gb (3 x 2) of corsair 1600mhz ram, ohh and an geforce 285 graphics card.

I have the cpu clocked to 3451 (according to cpuz).

this is the overclock settings i have >>

-cpu voltage +0.13
-QPI voltage +0.15
-Dram voltage 1.50
-Sread spectrum disabled.
-pce-i fix at 37.3
-Memory advanced timmings=what is on the memory modules.
-QPI fix at 4800GT/s
-BCLK =172=3440MHz
-disable EIST

My tempreatures on "idle" just now are about >>
graphics 49c
IOH (northbridge) 70c
CPU 25c
MOTHERBOARD 41c

under stress they are about >>
CPU 62c
IOH 71c
(i didnt record the other temps under stress).

how do those tempreatures look to youz ??

Provisionally OK, but what are you using to stress and measure temp readings?

for temps iam using everest ultimate edition and also an msi utility.

to stress it ive used a little program called "cpu stability test 6.0" and also "futuremark 3dmark vantage" (on full test).

Your temps look okay... But I'd run prime95, or intel BURN to stress it and see if they go any higher.

ok, ive ran the intel burn test on maximum test and for 5 times as recommended and the tempreatures dont even get near as hot as using my previously mentioned way of stressing.

as for prime 95, it takes too long and i need my computer in use nearly all the time, so it would be a pain in the butt for me to try that , i know it is a good proggy though.
