Ive always wonderd this and google is not my friend when ive searched for it and doesnt help at all.
So how do those lucky people get jobs to test pre release, concepts and new cars for manufactures?
Has anyone got any info on this topic

Depends what you mean exactly; you could work for an independant testing organisation or authority such as MIRA (If memory serves me correctly, Flat6 works for them...) or for the manufacturer directly.

Either way, it would be a case of joining the development team and hoping you display the right aptitude.
