How do the AM2 X2 3800's clock?

Well it may just be you guys jumping to a conclusion? People do get irritated a bit such as our friend there when people do that :)
 
I correct myself, theres been 4* previous Robbo's - all permabanned; CPUrobbo, Robbo123, Athlon64Robbo, AMDRobbo.

If it's mearly a coincidence then i appologise ;) Get that 3800 and clock the pants off it :cool:

Not quite - the memory controller is different. That would explain the different core names. I doubt if it would affect overclocking, though.

Thanks for the apology, I fully intend to clock the living nuts off it and will post my results up on here.

Same for me Dutch Guy (apart from I ordered mine today, and not at ocuk) :)
TBH anything above 2.4 would be nice (what this current cpu does max (at sensible voltage), but 2.6 or above would be lovely :p
