How do used Macbook Pros sell?

Hey all,

With all the talk about a refresh coming soon but the possibility of it being pushed back due to the Intel chips - It made me wonder about buying a current i7 model brand new and using it until the refresh comes around and just sell the i7 model and buy the refresh

I've not looked around too much on the price of used Macbook Pros - So I was wondering, do they depreciate a lot?

Is this a completely ridiculous idea and should I just wait?

I would say wait,

You could buy one now and when you come to sell it you might lose money

How do you know the next revision will be worth eating a loss for? Surely you'd judge its worth based on what has changed.

Apple stuff seems to keep it's value quite well, at least the things I see being sold on that auction site.
