How do you add a bookmarks button to chrome menu bar?

Hi all.

Can anyone tell me where the setting is to add a bookmarks button to the chrome menu bar, exactly like the one in Firefox?

I've not used Firefox in years but if you want a single button/folder instead of the entire bookmark bar I'm guessing you'll need a plug in:

Yes I want a single button and I just want it to show a menu of my favourites when clicked, no new windows or tabs etc.

I use an Extension called Neater Bookmarks. That does what you want.

That's not been updated since 2014 though has it? I know it was very popular back when it came out.

More of a security concern for me, things change, older code may open up vulnerabilities etc
