How do you apply your thermal Paste :O

Slightly less than-pea sized blob in the middle. First time I fitted an aftermarket cooler, I forgot to take off the plastic film, so I know it spreads ok with this method!

Blob in the middle, let it squish out.

Have done ever since seeing whichever video it was explaining the differences.

Rice grain sized blob on the middle of the cpu ihs, on my old lapped q6600 i spread the paste using a piece of cling film wrapped round my finger.
