I am starting a new job next week (Trainee Electrician) and i am going to be classed as self employed. I will be sub-contracting to someone else who is self employed.

Basically i want to know how i put myself down as self employed ? Who do i declare to and who do i contact to pay my National Insurance?

Any other info on the subject would be great :)
Thanks for your time,
Ryan

This sounds like a very bad idea. You should be employed whilst doing that, self employed means your 'employer' can basically give you no employment rights whatsoever.

But he's also free to labour for other electricians too. Works both ways.
