How do you block these spam sms ?

Been getting these sms from random senders

This is on an iPhone. The sender has no number or any contact details so cannot put on block list.

the box goes green so they are not using iMessage just standard sms.

Any ideas how to block them? Rather annoying.

Had the same number since one2one days. And done pretty well so far lol

If you go to Settings -> Messages there should be a "Filter Unknown Senders". Problem is this is rather extreme and will filter every message not on your contact list. You can still access those messages by going to the Filters -> Unknown Senders list in Messages.

Bit of a shame there's no proper spam protection like Google Messages on Android, it's been working pretty well for me.

It's as simple as clicking the number and blocking on Android. Doesn't the last screenshot where it says "block this caller" do anything?

Can’t block if there is no phone number. Sadly. The other screen shots would have shown a number if there was one.
