how do you boot into windows xp safe mode?

press F8 during start up, (basically turn on keep pressing F8) list should appear choose start in safe mode, from it.

Who's betting he;s just found out about the "administrator" account?

Just to be contrary to everyone else - F5 also works. It's also better to use if you have a crappy OEM PC like a Packard Bell as F8 would bring up the hardware boot menu before the Windows one.

Hah.

However, don't believe the thread is going to go anywhere, so.....

IN.

oh yeah speaking of which. What did your friend make of your book?

Any chance of a pdf sample?

Did you get a free ps3 in the end?

Well, there's the F5 apparently.

But this is as yet unconfirmed. Rumours and speculation have been flying around, but I have yet to see proof.
