At the min i'm running my Kingston Hyper X on auto at 800mhz but they can run at 1066mhz.

I've looked in the bios *Asus M4A78-Pro* and got to the part where i change the volts from 1.8v to 2.2v then when i looked at the bit where you would put in the timings there was loads more options than i thought there would be. I had thought it was a simple case of typing in 5-5-5-15 :D

thankyou in advance :)

ps.. i've also flashed my bios to the newest 1201 version.

I'm working from memory from a similar board so bear with me...

In the Ai Tweaker tab select the 'DRAM Frequency Control' and select 1066 (it may read 1067).

Change your voltages to 2.2v (you seem to have found these.)

And you're only concerned with the CAS Latency timings - so only change these.

Good luck

Thanks for the help lads. :)

I have just changed them in the bios, and they seem to be running at 1066mhz. one thing though, when i tried to change to 2.20v in the bios and pressed enter, it came up as 2.26v. then when i booted up, and checked TurboV that was saying 2.3v, until i knocked it down to 2.2v

will this be ok with only using the stock cpu cooler?
