How do you clean yours?

I've had a bottle of Akasa TIM for a long time and it's nearly empty now. So I'm wondering what the new replacement is and it seems that Akasa TIM is still well respected.

The trouble I have with Akasa TIM is that it leaves a slightly oily residue. So after I've removed the worst with Akasa TIM, I finish off with 99% alcohol for a near-perfect finish.

What does everybody else use?

I assume you mean some kind of TIM remover as opposed to TIM, since TIM is the stuff you are trying to clean off?

I personally use cheap vodka. Haha

Just bog roll, followed by bog roll with vodka on it.

I use the wife's nail varnish remover.

Get yourself a bottle of IPA. Even a 250ml bottle will last a long time and works a treat.

It is cheaper to buy rubbish vodka though, it works just as well (or seems to for me at least) and then when you are done, you can drink some to celebrate, and then spit it out again because it is so vile.
