I am having lots of issues atm, and i think its down to my graphics card driver as thats where the problems started. How do i completely remove them so i can reinstall the latest ones? Ive already just installed over the last ones but i dont think that works :p

cheers.

im looking at the readme now, is it really neccesary to disconnect my modem?

It looks a bit confusing, ill do it later tonight. What wil the drivers be called? Just to make sure i get the right ones :p?

Where it says remove drivers from add/remove, is that just the ones called 'NVIDIA drivers'?

cheers.

Ok basically
1) remove the driver using add/remove
2) reboot into safe mode
3) run driver cleaner
4) reboot into normal
5) install new driver

job done :)

add/remove programs -> Nvidia Drivers -> Then select Display only.
Reboot into Safe-Mode
Load Driver Cleaner -> Select "Nvidia" + "Nvidia WDM" (Multiple Filters) -> Run Cleaner
Install New Drivers
Reboot into Windows
Setup Resolution and Adv.Settings again.

Voila! :D Well... that's the way I do it. Lol.

thanks a lot guys, will do this later on today, When you say setup advance settings again, what do you mean? :p sorry for noob questions.

thanks, just done everything :)

Not entirely sure its worked yet, will have an intense COD4 session later to see if its ok.

One thing i did do different though, was i installed the new drivers after i rebooted back into windows (after restarting after running driver cleaner) like it says in the readme, although i dont think it matters.

safe mode ensures that files you otherwise are unable to write to get removed, its unlikely it will matter but on bad uninstalls some files sometimes linger about as they cant be removed while in normal windows
