How do you connect Samsung monitor stands?

How the hell are you supposed to fit the stand in the monitor base when it's so small and the rubber creates huge amounts of friction against it? The instructions with samsung monitors are non existant.

Vaseline works a treat. If you have none, grab some of that stuff you and the wife keep for those special occasions.

As suggested earlier, Vaseline, or something that is oily and a lot of patience will do the job.

Luckily my particular Samsung monitor didn't need to be fitted on as it was already done.
