Hey,

I'm about to build a gaming computer with a GTX670, I wanted to have dual 24" samsung monitors, but only one would be for gaming as I dont like gaming across two monitors. One for like browser, skype, msn etc and one for my fullscreen game

I was just wondering how you would do this, would you connect one monitor to the onboard VGA connection and one to the GPU or both to the GPU? I didn't know if I connected both to GPU it would make the game spread across both monitors/put more stress on the gpu

The onboard would be using some of your system ram and depending on the motherboard/CPU it could also be using some CPU power.

Fraps records the program not the screen. So you should be fine.

If I'm correct anyway?

Spot on, it monitors the window running the game.

As for running two monitors on a 670, justalex81 is correct, the drop in performance won't be noticeable (akin to putting a child in the passenger seat of a Ferrari and then trying to see any drop in 0-60 time).
