Hi,
One of the reasons i upgraded from vista was i found a video on youtube showing The way you can make windows 7 look how ever u want! The video has the taskbar on the left and on the bottom there were buttons that when you hover over them, they sort of zoom a little! (e.g media Player button, and other short cuts) I cant even find the youtube video now -_- Was this video a fake?
P.s i know how to change the color etc its just adding the little features that make the navigation look a lil diffrent :)

They will have installed apps such as rocketdock or similar to get a modified GUI.

Question I have to ask is why? Why do people feel the need to mess with it, gets incredibly annoying having to tell people at work WHY we ban this crap in the first place.

EDIT: That video shows me quite possibly the worst windows experience I've ever seen.

They're not at work and frankly using tools like this in a minimal way can be more memory efficient than desktop gadgets.

I ban stuff like this at work too, hell no they aren't getting to use it :p

I'm the same, I leave as much at default as I possibly can. The only thing I ever change is the Desktop Background! Keeping things simple means that it's a whole lot quicker should you need to reinstall windows ,I'm back up running as normal in no time at all these days.
